We understand that it can be difficult to get that perfect piece of gear the first time around. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will grant a full refund or exchange. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for returns unless the return is a result of our error or a manufacturing defect.

Item(s) must be in new condition, not missing parts, tags, or instructions and in resalable condition. Items eligible to be returned must be post marked within 30 days of their receipt by buyer, or no later than 45 days after their initial shipment. We do not grant refunds or exchanges for custom, discontinued, clearance, or closeout items except due to our error or an undisclosed defect.

SmartTrack Hybrid Foil Rudder is a flip over the deck Rudder Housing and Foil.   Ideal as a replacement on older kayaks when someone prefers a more traditional look.  The foil blade is available in two lengths either Single or Tandem and, has the hydro efficiency for which SmartTrack is known.  Available in three mounts to match a variety of different kayaks: Bayonet Pin, Long Pin and Mid Pin.

Bayonet Pin

The SmartTrack Bayonet Pin fits kayaks with a rudder pivot sleeve on the rear deck where the bayonet pivots and locks with an integrated detent for easy installation or removal of the housing. Fits some Stellar Kayaks, Epic Kayak and Valley Kayak as well as other kayaks with an integrated bayonet sleeve.

Long Pin & Mid Pin

The SmartTrack Long and Mid Pin is suitable for kayaks with an extension or a vertical hole all the way through the rear of the kayak. Typical examples are Perception, Dagger and Wilderness Systems kayaks.

  • Long Pin measures 3 5/8" long with a 3/8" diameter
  • Mid Pin measures 2" long with a 3/8" diameter
