Global Product Warranty
All Gearlab Outdoors paddles (“paddles”) purchased directly from Gearlab Outdoors (“Gearlab”) or from one of our authorized retailers are warranted to be free from manufacturing, material or workmanship defects for one year from the date of purchase. Within the warranty period, Gearlab will either repair, replace, or refund any products deemed to be defective at Gearlab’s discretion.
Warranty Process
Please contact Gearlab Outdoors at sales@gearlaboutdoors.com with description of the issue, photograph(s), serial number of the paddle, and proof of purchase to initiate the warranty process. If Gearlab deems the product to be defective, Gearlab will issue a Return Authorization Number to the customer with instructions of how to proceed. If the product is no longer available or unrepairable, Gearlab will provide a reasonable refund or similar replacement.
After Repair & Replace
Gearlab Outdoors guarantee our repair and replacement for 90 days or the remaining term of your warranty, whichever is longer.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns & Exchanges
We understand that it can be difficult to get that perfect piece of gear the first time around. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will grant a full refund or exchange. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for returns unless the return is a result of our error or a manufacturing defect.
Item(s) must be in new condition, not missing parts, tags, or instructions and in resalable condition. Items eligible to be returned must be post marked within 30 days of their receipt by buyer, or no later than 45 days after their initial shipment. We do not grant refunds or exchanges for custom, discontinued, clearance, or closeout items except due to our error or an undisclosed defect.
Rolling Float is a kayak roll training device. It allows you to practice rolling with confidence, with less wet exits and more elegance.
There are three key components to rolling a kayak:
#1 Driving the legs and thigh, #2 Body buoyancy, and #3 Paddle floatation.
Gearlab Rolling Float helps you to be more comfortable with your body balance during your kayak rolling practice. The product is intuitive and provides more initial buoyancy than a paddle. Using the Rolling Float, you can practice more with elegance and confidence, minus the cumbersome wet exits.
One Grip Method
Grab the Rolling Float in one hand to practice Lay Back Rolls, aka a standard Greenland Roll.
Two Grips Method
Grab the Rolling Float in two hands to practice Forward Finish Rolls, such as a Storm Roll.
