At Olympic Outdoor Center our goal is to see that you have an incredible experience with our equipment and staff. Please read through the following section to learn more about our expectations and policies.
All Rentals
All participants must sign a release form. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign on their behalf.
Please do not consume alcohol or partake in any other substance that will effect your ability to make sound decisions while out on the water
Payments & Fees
All day and multi-day rentals are paid for in advance at time of reservation. There will be no refunds for returning early.
Late returns are subject to additional fees based on the amount of time over. Please call us if you are going to be late.
There is a $20 cleaning fee for equipment that is returned excessively dirty and will be charged once gear is returned. Please take the time to clean rented equipment before returning them.
Renters are responsible for the full replacement value of any equipment lost, damaged, or stolen.
Kayaks & Paddleboards
Life Jackets (PFD's) must be worn at all times. Please do not remove your life jacket once you get away from our facility.
Give local wildlife their space. Harbor seals haul out to rest and sun themselves during the day. Do not get within 100 yards, especially if there are pups in the mix. Spooking the parents can lead to accidental fatalities amongst the young seals.
Paddle into the wind first, that way if the conditions worsen you can make it back to the facility. Return if you are uncomfortable with or unsure about the conditions.
Bikes
Helmets must be worn at all times. Please do not remove your helmet once you get away from our facility.
Offsite Rentals
Weekend offsite rentals must be picked up after 3pm Friday and returned Monday before noon.
Transportation
Offsite rentals must transported in a way that meets our approval. We do not rent racks, straps or tiedowns. Most of our equipment cannot be carried in the bed of a pickup truck, or on the roofs of cars without suitable racks. Equipment must be properly secured by the renter.
