Customize Your Ride
- Bring your own Pedals: We provide flats for the basic rental. You can bring you own pedals if you wish.
- Bring your own Saddle: While these bikes do come with stock saddles, we are happy to help you install your own saddle if you prefer. Note: Due to varying designs, not all carbon rail saddles will not work with our seat posts, so please bring a steel or titanium rail saddle.
- Install your Bike Computer: Cycling computers are not included withe these bikes, but you can bring your own plus mount if you would like.
Bike Selection and Sizing
E-Bike Sizing: We stock bike sizes from Med to adult XL in Port Gamble.
Trail Bike Sizing: We stock bike sizes from Small to adult XL in Port Gamble.
E-Bike Riding: Our bikes are pedal assist. You have to be peddling to have the motor kick in and assist you. Maximum speed is 20 MPH. There is no speed lever, the speed is controlled by your peddling and shifting the bike. You should expect moderate physical activity. We highly recommend you use ECO mode to lengthen battery life.

Reserve your spot on the PS Express Passenger ferry from Port Townsend EARLY! They have a limited number (4) seats on the ferry for bikes that fill up quickly, especially weekends. Call 1-888-468-3701 | (360) 378-9551or email: info@visitsanjuans.com. This is your quickest way to the San Juan Islands from Port Gamble. Leave your car in Port Townsend, travel to the Islands on the ferry, and start biking the same day.
- Rent Your Trail Bike (E-Bikes are not allowed on PS Express) and Gear from Olympic
- Drive to Port Townsend (just 45 minutes) and take the PS Express Passenger ferry to the heart of the Islands, Friday Harbor. Parking is available.
- Explore the many trails, roads, and parks of the islands, www.visitsanjuans.com
- Take the PS Express Passenger ferry back to Port Townsend
- Return Bike and Gear to Olympic in Port Gamble.
